…says a very wise girl I know. Such friends are worthy of some pretty righteous adoration, yes? Well my way of showing that is by sewing gifts, so this year I made personalized clutches for 6 of my best gal pals. I used Noodlehead’s go-to tutorial, just without boxing the corners.
For free-spirited, surfer beach babe, Ali:
Stylish, classy, and caring Andrea:
Playful, feminine, kind-hearted Heather:
Outgoing, wise, and edgy Katie:
Navy-blue-loving, Kate-Spade-adoring, intellectual, and sassy Molly:
And last but never least, the fun-loving girlie comedian of my heart, Stacy:
I love them all SO MUCH, and sewing for them warms my snowy Christmas heart. Planning, choosing fabric, choosing zipper colors… the whole shebang. I even remembered to put labels in all of them! This is a big accomplishment for me. I ALWAYS forget to label my quilts!
And I’m not the only one of us who made gifts for us all. Stacy made lovely felt rose hair clips and Heather made us all homemade soap and body scrub! Not to mention the thoughtful gifts and goodies everyone else brought to our Saturday date at the Boulder Tea House. Whether they be handmade or store-bought, they mean a lot just the same. Merry Christmas to us! We’re so fancy.

Beautiful idea Marta. May I ask where you have your labels done? Or do you do them yourself. ie From Marta with Love.
